On January 26, 2026, the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KhNURE) once again welcomed prospective students and their parents for its vibrant Open Doors Day. This event provided a unique opportunity for applicants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a leading technical university and experience the pulse of modern engineering professions firsthand.

I studied Computer Engineering at KNURE from 2000 to 2005.

In the first year, we learned assembly language and wrote programs in it, even though advanced C/C++ compilers already existed at that time.

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, the university community will come together to sincerely celebrate an important national holiday — the Unity Day of Ukraine.

In accordance with Order No. 1618 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 11.12.2025 “On the Approval of Decisions of the Certification Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 11.12.2025 Regarding the Conferment of Academic Titles and Award of Academic Degrees,” the decision of the Scientific Council of KhNURE regarding the conferment of academic titles has been approved.

We are pleased to announce that the proceedings of the 2025 IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS 2025) have been officially published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

On December 21, 2025, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics opened its doors to future students. The university atmosphere came alive thanks to interactive exhibits, direct dialogue with faculty representatives, and the opportunity to explore the foundations of modern IT and engineering professions.

The event was attended by Prof. Svitlana Chumachenko, Head of the Design Automation Department; Assoc. Prof. Inna Filippenko; postgraduate student Valentyn Korniienko; and assistant Ivan Khakhanov.

On December 14, 2025, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KhNURE) hosted a large-scale Open Doors event, “NEXT GEN DAY: Your Route to the Professions of the Future.” The event brought together schoolchildren, college students, and their parents to see firsthand how tomorrow’s technologies are born.

The event featured participation from the Head of the Design Automation Department, Professor Svitlana Chumachenko, Associate Professor Inna Filipenko, and PhD student Valentyn Kornienko.

Professors of the Design Automation Department V. Khakhanov, S. Chumachenko, Ye. Lytvynova, and H. Khakhanova, together with young researchers I. Khakhanov, V. Obrizan, and PhD students N. Maksymova, O. Demchenko, and A. Voronov, took part in the 21st IEEE East–West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS 2025), held on December 5–8, 2025 in Tbilisi, Georgia, presenting three reports devoted to the theory and practice of vector-logical computing, prepared in collaboration with colleagues from Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University and the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.
