Within the framework of TechFest NURE, Associate Professor of the Design Automation Department Inna Viktorivna Filippenko and assistant Valentyn Korninko held a master class and a workshop for schoolchildren.
The master class explained the principles of working with microcontroller technology.
They were introduced to the software development environment and the board.
The basics of developing control systems based on microcontrollers were introduced.
The practice of programming microcontrollers on the basis of the Arduino Uno development board on the example of the “Machine” device was carried out.
A workshop was held on managing various subsystems of the Smart Home.
The skills of interpreting (analyzing) data coming from the subsystems of the “Smart Home” were provided.

Participation in the IEEE EWDTS-2024 Symposium

Professors of the Design Automation Department Hahanov V.I., Chumachenko S.V., and Lytvynova Ye.I. participated in the 20th IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS), held on November 13-17, 2024, in Yerevan, Armenia, with the reports “Vector-Logical In-Memory Simulation of Faults as Truth Table Addresses” and “Prompt-Testing of Logic.” The symposium materials are published in IEEExplore and indexed by Scopus in February 2025.

The event was organized with the support of regular partners of NURE: Kharkiv IT Cluster, SoftServe Ukraine, the Department of Education of the Novobavarskyi District Administration of Kharkiv, as well as the student television of NURE.

POSTGRADUATE STUDENT OF THE Design Automation Departmen VICTORIA SEMERENSKA TOOK PART IN THE SWEDISH PROJECT CAFU

The main aim of this project is to equip Ukrainian young adults in education with relevant competencies that complement their studies, creating capacity for а holistic impact on post-war Ukraine, which aligns with EU standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
This program brought 30 of 200 Ukrainian students and young educators to Uppsala and Stockholm, Sweden, for an intensive, insightful week (28 Oct 2024 –1 Nov 2024) of learning and exchange.
