The Design Automation Department invites active and motivated students to join the work of our scientific club.
Club Name:
“Development of Innovative AI Systems”
Primary Goal:
In-depth study of modern Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies and their application for creating innovative software and hardware solutions. The club is focused on hands-on research work that can form the basis for course/diploma projects, scientific publications, or startup ideas.
Supervisor:
Ivan Volodymyrovych Khakhanov, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Assistant Professor at the Design Automation Department. A specialist in the field of modern information technologies.
Focus Area:
Engineering & Technological (Information Technologies, Artificial Intelligence).
Club members will have the opportunity to work on projects related to:
- Machine Learning and Neural Networks.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Computer Vision.
- Development of Intelligent Control and Data Analysis Systems.
- Using Python and other AI/ML tools to solve real-world problems.
For Whom:
The club is designed for NURE students (primarily 2nd-4th year) from all faculties who:
- Have basic programming knowledge (e.g., in Python).
- Are interested in promising IT fields.
- Wish to gain practical experience to enhance their CV.
- Plan to engage in research work or the development of high-tech projects.
Format & Location:
The club’s activities will be held on-site at the Design Automation Department. Meeting schedules and specific project topics will be coordinated with the supervisor and participants.
