The 21st IEEE East–West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS 2025)
Professors of the Design Automation Department V. Khakhanov, S. Chumachenko, Ye. Lytvynova, and H. Khakhanova, together with young researchers I. Khakhanov, V. Obrizan, and PhD students N. Maksymova, O. Demchenko, and A. Voronov, took part in the 21st IEEE East–West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS 2025), held on December 5–8, 2025 in Tbilisi, Georgia, presenting three reports devoted to the theory and practice of vector-logical computing, prepared in collaboration with colleagues from Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University and the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.
The thematic scope of the IEEE East–West Design & Test 2025 symposium was represented by numerous areas of CAD and EDA, which are becoming increasingly intertwined with AI tools. The event brought together over 170 researchers from 18 countries, who presented 58 reports. A lively discussion was sparked by the keynote speech “Design and Test – Emerging Problem and Solution” delivered by Yervant Zorian, Chief Architect and Fellow at Synopsys (USA).
The symposium contributes to achieving such UN Sustainable Development Goals as Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and Goal 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
