Combining Science, Sports, and Modern Technologies at the “Move and Explore” Fair

Kharkiv, December 2025

Kharkiv successfully hosted the “Move and Explore” Sports and Science Fair, organized by the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council.

Aimed at integrating physical activity with scientific knowledge, the event gathered numerous participants, including Inna Viktorivna Filippenko, Associate Professor of the Design Automation Department at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and Candidate of Technical Sciences.

For her active participation in organizing and conducting the event, professional excellence, and significant contribution to promoting science and sports among young people, Inna Filippenko received a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the department’s director.

The “Move and Explore” Fair provides schoolchildren and students with the opportunity not only to engage with the latest scientific achievements in an interactive format but also to participate in various sports activities, demonstrating the important connection between intellectual and physical development.

Participation of KNURE representatives in such community events contributes to the spread of scientific literacy and motivates the younger generation to acquire technical knowledge and maintain an active lifestyle.

The “Move and Explore” Fair has become a practical implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Kharkiv, combining the principles of Quality Education (SDG 4), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), and Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9) by promoting science, sports, and modern technologies among youth.
