TechFest NURE: Touch the future!
Within the framework of TechFest NURE, Associate Professor of the Design Automation Department Inna Viktorivna Filippenko and assistant Valentyn Korninko held a master class and a workshop for schoolchildren.
The master class explained the principles of working with microcontroller technology.
They were introduced to the software development environment and the board.
The basics of developing control systems based on microcontrollers were introduced.
The practice of programming microcontrollers on the basis of the Arduino Uno development board on the example of the “Machine” device was carried out.
A workshop was held on managing various subsystems of the Smart Home.
The skills of interpreting (analyzing) data coming from the subsystems of the “Smart Home” were provided.
The practice of programming microcontroller subsystems of the “Smart Home” based on the Arduino Uno development board was carried out.
The participants and guests of the master class plunged into the wonderful world of addressable LEDs, where every moment became an opportunity for creativity and realization of unique ideas in bright colors! They explored the fascinating play of light and shadow, where every detail plays a role in creating unique compositions. Addressable LEDs are not just a light source, they are a real palette of opportunities for creative expression! The participants were able to discover how these small but powerful points of light can transform a space into a real work of art. Each color, each mixed gamut opens up new horizons for imagination! The master class was not only an opportunity to learn the technical characteristics of addressable LEDs, but also to enjoy their magical world. It was a space for inspiration, creativity and unexpected discoveries, where everyone could become an artist of their own light masterpiece!
On March 11, 2025, an event for schoolchildren TechFest NURE was held in the safe shelter of Kharkiv Lyceum 116, 22 Kultury St., Naukova metro station – an educational and entertainment festival with interactive master classes, quizzes, technology shows and acquaintance with IT professions!

The event helps to get acquainted with IT education through practice and choose your future with NURE!
The key role of science, technology and innovation in addressing sustainable development is obvious. At the same time, priority should be given to generating practical knowledge that leads to practical results. For example, Goal 9 concerns “industry, innovation and infrastructure” and is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015. Goal 9 aims to create sustainable infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and innovation. Among the means of implementation: support for the development of domestic technologies and industrial diversification; universal access to information and communication technologies. We call for the unification of researchers and scientists to share best practices for the implementation of the SDGs.
