The qualification work is dedicated to creating a working prototype of a microcontroller system for automated control of lighting, musical accompaniment, and the mechanism for opening/closing doors within the “Smart Home” concept. The system is implemented on the Arduino platform and integrates modules for RFID access identification, information display on an LCD screen, control, and sound accompaniment. For the device to function, an external power source is required. Testing confirmed that the device consistently performs its intended functions and meets project requirements. The scientific and practical result was the creation of a prototype that differs from existing commercial solutions in its ease of operation and moderate price.
