Bachelor Qualification Work Defenses Continue: We Keep Introducing Interesting Projects 13.06.2025!
At the Design Automation Department (DAD) of NURE, the period of qualification work defenses for students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in specialty 123 “Computer Engineering” continues.
We continue to introduce you to the most interesting and promising projects that have already been presented to the examination committee:
- Kravtsov Mark Ivanovych, KIUKI-21-9 group. Multichannel Automatic Irrigation System Based on Arduino. The qualification work is dedicated to the implementation of a multichannel automatic irrigation system based on Arduino. During the project, an analysis of the subject area was conducted, the hardware component was designed, the choice of electronic components was justified, software was developed and implemented, and a prototype was tested. The scientific and practical result was a system prototype that stands out for its ease of use and moderate price compared to existing commercial solutions.
- Chystyakov Denys Yuriyovych, KIUKI-21-8 group. Software and Hardware Complex for Analyzing Bicycle Speed Characteristics Based on ESP8266. The goal of the qualification work is to develop a software and hardware complex for accurate measurement, display, and analysis of bicycle speed characteristics during rides. The project created an integrated complex with a hardware part based on ESP8266 (ESP8266 microcontroller, Hall sensor, WS2813B LED) and a mobile application using React Native. Algorithms for speed and distance analysis, wireless communication via Wi-Fi, and power consumption optimization were implemented. The developed complex demonstrates the practical application of knowledge in the “Computer Engineering” specialty.
