Design Automation Conference (DAC 63) is a premier global event, an Olympic Games of science and engineering, where the best scientists of the planet and leading companies shaping the NASDAQ stock market index come together. This year, the conference and exhibition will take place in the vibrant city of Long Beach, Southern California.

PhD student of the Department of Computer Engineering Design Automation Nataliia Maksymova (second year of study in specialty 123 Computer Engineering, scientific supervisor – Prof. V. I. Khakhanov) has won, as a DAC Young Fellow, a grant to participate in the 63rd Design Automation Conference, which will be held on July 26–29, 2026. In the entire history of the DAC conference, this is an unprecedented case, as is the participation of scientists and young professionals from Ukraine. The organizing committee received a record number of applications – 388 for the DAC 2026 Young Fellows competition. As noted in the letter from the organizing committee, the selection committee was truly impressed by Nataliia’s application and presentation. As a DAC Young Fellow, Nataliia Maksymova will receive a travel grant, free registration for the entire DAC conference, the opportunity to present a poster and a talk, a special Sunday program, online practical and laboratory sessions, a chance to win prizes, as well as a certificate. This event opens opportunities to meet other students and researchers, connect with new people and build friendships for many years, and to represent the scientific school of Computer Engineering at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

We wish Nataliia success at the conference!
