Choose Your Future Wisely: NURE Hosted Open Day for Future Engineers
April 26, 2026 – Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE) once again became the primary destination for those planning to dedicate their lives to high technology. In accordance with Directive No. 29R, the university held a large-scale career orientation event designed to assist applicants in making an informed choice about their future profession.
This time, the focus was on direct communication with leading lecturers and scientists, allowing prospective students to receive comprehensive answers to complex questions regarding education and career paths.
Professional Insights from the Design Automation Department (DAD)
The Design Automation Department presented its educational opportunities through open consultations. Leading specialists of the department — Associate Professor Inna Filippenko and PhD student Valentyn Korniienko — conducted a series of meetings with applicants and their parents.
Instead of dry theory, guests were immersed in discussions of real-world cases:
Light and Semiconductors: Inna Filippenko explained the physical nature of modern light sources and how NURE engineers design the systems that control them.
From Simple to Complex: Valentyn Korniienko shared his experience on how understanding the basic elements of electronics serves as the foundation for developing sophisticated intelligent systems and computer hardware.
The activities of the Design Automation Department traditionally align with strategic Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8): Training specialists who are highly sought after in the global labor market.
Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (Goal 9): Advancing the national school of computing systems design.
This Open Day reaffirmed that NURE remains a leader in technological education, where every talent finds a path to realization. We look forward to seeing you among our students!
