The teachers and scientists of Design Automation Department took part at the 18th IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium – 20120, September 4 – 7. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic the IEEE EWDTS 2020 will be held online. EWDTS-2020 explores the novel trends in testing, diagnosis, repair of microelectronic systems, and also cyber security, automotive, IoT, artificial intelligence. Total number of authors: 305. Number of accepted papers: 95. Number of participating countries: 21 (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Czech Republic, China, Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam). Number of keynotes is 1 and number of invited talk is 3. Number of Universities and Companies is 80. Number of cities is 61.

Master student gr. SKSm-19-1 of Design Automation Department Sergienko Vladislav took part in the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of “Computer Science and Cybernetics” (Vinnitsa National Technical University) on 06/11/2020, where he won first place with the scientific work “System of noise-resistant block coding FPGA data”, supervisor – Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Kulak Elvira Nikolaevna.
